UN and Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Summit 2009

The Prime Minister will meet world leaders at the United Nations in New York and the G20 Summit in Pittsburgh during his week in the United States.

Gordon Brown will focus on the “five global challenges”: climate change, poverty, nuclear proliferation, terrorism, and the economy.

The G20 Summit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will run from 24-25 September. President Obama will chair the meeting of leaders representing 85 per cent of the world’s economy.
